Sometimes DIY projects can save you a lot of money, providing you have experience with what you are doing, and familiar with the tools and products you are working with.

Sometimes, things look a lot easier than they really are and can turn into huge jobs!

What if the paint colour turns out looking different from the swatch?

What if your edging job leaves jagged and obvious borders?

What if your roller technique isn't as smooth as you'd hoped?

What if you have uneven walls that need smoothing out?

The list of 'what ifs' can go on and on. The problems that can happen when doing jobs you aren't familiar with, can end up being very expensive to fix. A great option for projects you aren't too sure what the outcome will be, is to let a professional help you get the end result you want.

When deciding on a new look for the room of your choice, sometimes the best laid plans turn into a mess without the right guiding principles for your interior painting project.

While a mixture of colors can be beautiful, too many or the wrong colours paired together can create a .....well, terrible end result. Try to follow a classic colour scheme, like monochromatic or complementary, and stick with the 60-30-10 rule to create the perfect balance.

It's important to keep in mind the furniture colours and fabrics, curtains and even rugs that will eventually be placed back in the newly painted room. Too much of a good thing can become a design disaster if you aren't careful to take all of the contributing factors into consideration.
